Authors, however, will always have the possibility to choose the path that they will follow; and their choice affects the relative objectivity of the photos. Poetry is free; it does not need to be fair in terms of being unbiased, and objectivity is indeed the last thing one would expect in a poem. This is exactly where photography and poetry meet in Suddenly It Was Night. In 60 photos, in 60 poems. They both speak in a biased way, each in its own language.
